Seth’s Blog: Exceeding expectations (or don’t bother)

I couldn’t exceed my (or your) expectations, so I posted nothing.

However, I was impressed with this article…

Mayor unleashes goat program

At a backyard press conference at city hall, Robertson, who made environmentalism a key component of his successful 2008 civic election campaign, introduced Tony, a striking four-year-old African pygmy goat and program centerpiece.

The Vancouver Courier wrote this in jest, but as in every good joke, there has to be enough reality to make it plausible. Goats are used in a number of communities for various purposes – just not in Vancouver yet! Maybe Castlegar will beat Vancouver in this race. We can only hope.
