Just Because…

I know enough of what we don’t for sure know is going on to know that it is probably going on.

Just because someone sells it, gives it away or permits it to be sold doesn’t mean that it is good. Just because something is illegal, doesn’t mean it is dangerous or bad for you. Just because someone makes money, doesn’t mean they are evil. Just because they tell you it’s true, doesn’t mean it is.

I’m not out looking for conspiracy theories or anything like that, but the lack of critical thinking in the mainstream media – and the flow-on effect of dumbing down and passifying the general populace is frightening. The question that needs to be asked by every consumer is, “who gains the most from this purchase?” These days, chances are it is a corporation. And the loser is the one who has the ongoing cost of maintaining, fueling or upgrading it, or repairing the damage it does to people, infrastructure or the environment.

Just Because You’re Paranoid Doesn’t Mean They Aren’t Out to Get You.

Jeez, that’s a seriously disturbing picture…But I agree with what it’s saying completely.

Ha! The burden of proof should lie on those who are supporting a change from the natural order, (not the corporate order!).
