I do however use RocketPost from anconia.com/rocketpost/ which is a similar kind of tool that's great for updating one of my blogs. the only downside to the tool is you have to pay for it, which I think Microsofts is free. Would be interesting to find a comparison of the 2 to see if its money well spent. Haven’t tried Microsoft Livewriter yet, but most of the reviews I have read are pretty positive about the product. Sync is short for synchronize, meaning contemporary or "To operate in unison" you know, like in "Synchronized Swimming" which was around way before unix.
