Mexico City’s Pipeline Leaks

And we thought that our communities had water supply problems. Authorities in Mexico City were forced to shut down a major pipeline for 36 hours, cutting off supply to over 5 million residents.

More than 50% of the water carried by the pipeline leaks out before it reaches its destination.

This story of infrastructure problems is like that described in James Howard Kunstler‘s fictional future novel “World Made By Hand”. It is likely we will hear more stories of this nature in the future.
