It sounds absolutely ludicrous, but the genes are what is patented, and whereever they are present, it is Monsanto&#039;s property. Which begs the question, and Percy did touch on this - can these genes pass through to higher lifeforms, birds, bees , bugs, even humans? Percy&#039;s answer is yes. </description>
