Oh, I got a book reviewing Oh, I got a book reviewing gig with two major publishers via blogging. I also have an advertising contract with my food blog that is supposed to generate some income (it's new and I won't see how much exactly until the end of this month). I've had some other perks, too, like my trip to Test the Nation in Toronto last winter. While the book you mention sounds interesting, I'd only want to blog if I could make the income with the current blog(s) I have. I'm not in this for the money and I don't necessarily want to create something I'm not interested in or passionate about purely to make money.

One of the main concepts in One of the main concepts in the book is creating or developing a niche - and blogging almost entirely on that (if you want to make money anyway).

For me, there are so many points of intersection between the local, personal, professional and global discussions on any particular topic, or topics(s) that any blog with good writing can be tweaked to exploit some form of monetization.

I'd be happy to lend the book to you!
