Today we picked up our new computer desk, which is flat packed, and shipped via Sears to our local outlet in town. We got it home, opened is up, pulled out the instructions and found that it recommends that it will take 4 hours to assemble and will require two people at times.
Looks like a weekend project.
If it wasn’t the size, shape and colour we wanted, I’d take it back. Obviously not designed by Ikea. No one item from Ikea takes more than an hour to assemble. Four hours is ridiculous, it appears that holes have been predrilled, but all fittings are bagged.
I might photoblog the process.
