Tracking My Crazy Visitors

12-07-2007-1.43.19 PMI think this is the first visitor that has come to UrbanWorkbench with the search phrase as follows, (see image to the right):

I’m hoping, all things working out, that anyone searching for this will actually get an alternative product to investigate, sold by me! It’s cool that people can search for phrases like this and get relevant results, (I’ve blogged about Searching Google for Relevant Results before!) But it’s even cooler that I am able to track that search and discover what people are finding from the search engines,

My blog statistics are provided by PMetrics, this view is of one column in the spy function which gives real time visitor hits. Note, Spy is only available in the paid premium version, which is truly worth the $2 a month!

 

You even get a view per IP address of where the search query or visitor is from.

Very Cool!

I took that snapshot in the I took that snapshot in the morning here in North America, would have been the middle of the night in Oz.
