UrbanWorkbench on Wordpress

Urbanworkbench has made it onto Wordpress! Most everything is working to some degree or another, I’m going to bed and will happily respond to any troubleshooting in the morning.

The theme is Thesis, which is a highly customisable SEO-friendly template. Over the coming weeks there are more changes coming to the site, but for the moment, please enjoy the clean typography offered by the finest wordpress template available.

If you enjoyed this post, why not try these ones:

There are still several things I’m not entirely happy with, kinda like a hangover the next morning…
- categories with two words are giving a 404 error. I have to manually change the category slug for that fix.
- old comments by me are not attributed to me :-(
- some old comments have the drupal comment title in the text. That one might be manual as well.
Overall, it was a good 4 hours of work last night and I feel free!

Nice work! i really like the clean theme. but…i’m logged in with wordpress and it doesn’t seem to register with wordpress and your site. is that because it’s a wordpress theme on a non-wp server?

Thanks Torbjorn,

This is a self-hosted installation, I haven’t seen any plugins that permit wordpress.com users to automatically use their login. I also added a plugin CommentLuv that provides a link to the last blog post from the commentor. (See above).

The overall layout won’t change much, but the colors and header may if I get time over the next couple of weeks.
